Texans guard Mike Brisiel has undergone surgery Monday to repair a broken right leg, and coach Gary Kubiak is hoping he'll be back in three to four weeks. Houston also waived veteran receiver Derrick Mason. The Texans (10-3) signed the 37-year-old Mason in mid-October, after Andre Johnson went down with a right hamstring injury.

Even the Denver Broncos seemed a bit dazed by this latest comeback led by Tim Tebow. Champ Bailey summed up Sunday's 13-10 overtime victory over the Chicago Bears this way: "Wow!" Matt Prater's 51-yard field goal 6 1/2 minutes into OT won it after his 59-yarder with 3 seconds left in regulation tied the score.

Yates made a little Lone Star history. The fifth-round draft pick led the most important drive in Texans history on Sunday, taking Houston 80 yards in little more than 2 minutes with no timeouts against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Texans receiver Andre Johnson is inactive for a game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday because of an injured left hamstring. Johnson hurt the hamstring during a 17-10 win over Atlanta a week earlier. Coach Gary Kubiak said during the week that the injury was mild. Johnson didn't practice during the week.
